In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Central yet quiet location — Guests repeatedly praise the position — close to the metro, within walking distance of downtown, and near Eduardo Park, with river views from some rooms. The hotel is described as peaceful at night despite its central setting.
  • Very comfortable beds — Reviewers call the beds exceptionally comfortable, with feather pillows and a modern, newly remodeled decor. Sleep quality comes up again and again as a standout.
  • Attentive, courteous staff — From the front desk to the door, staff are described as friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. Guests note they were happy to arrange early check-in or provide information.
  • Convenient parking and transport links — On-site parking is available, and the hotel offers a paid airport shuttle. The metro is close by, and the sightseeing bus tour stop is just up the street.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Dining and service value score lower — While individual dishes and breakfast earn praise, the dining category scores 7 and price/service 6 out of 10 — suggesting some guests find the on-site restaurant or overall value less impressive than the rooms and location.
  • Street noise possible in some rooms — Despite soundproofed rooms being listed, several reviewers mention the location is on a hill and close to the airport — though most say noise isn't a problem, it may vary by room orientation.
  • À la carte restaurant may not suit all budgets — The hotel's only dining option is an à la carte restaurant — there's no buffet or casual all-day café listed, which could be a downside for guests wanting quick, inexpensive meals.
  • Check-in window ends at midnight — Check-in is from 15:00 to 23:59. If you arrive after midnight, you'll need to have arranged late arrival in advance, though the 24-hour reception is there to assist.

“Good location — near the airport but without annoying noise, and close to the metro. Parking was available. The hotel staff were very friendly and always ready to help with information. There was excellent piano music in the lobby in the evening! I would gladly return.”

“The hotel has changed from Meridian to Tiara Park Atlantic Lisboa, and the great service they provide to clients is the same, maybe even better today. The staff, from the back office to the front door and desk, are all in the right positions, with smiling faces and top-notch cordiality. Some carry experience from the past, and it shows. My finger was passed over various points and came away clean — my very observant eye didn't spot anything wrong in this big, very well-located, quiet, and excellent hotel in the heart of Lisbon, where I was born 59 years ago. My rating out of 10 is 9.98, because I always keep 2 points for that moment I didn't see or wasn't there if something goes wrong.”

Getting around Lisbon

The property sits in Lisbon.

Getting around: The hotel is close to the metro, and many guests say they walked everywhere — downtown is within easy reach on foot, and the sightseeing bus tour stop is just up the street.

Nearby sights: Eduardo Park is next door and offers views down to the river Tagus. The Avenida da Liberdade is also just next door, with shopping and restaurants.

Nightlife and dining: For a night out, reviewers suggest taking a taxi — they're plentiful and fares around town rarely exceeded €5. The hotel's own à la carte restaurant and bar are an option for a quieter evening.
